Energy Healing and Channeling
What is Energy healing? How does it differ from other types of healing? Does it work? How can it work when the person is not even in the room, even maybe thousands of miles away and you don't even know the person? Will it work if I don't believe any of it? How does your healing work? What should I expect? Why do I have to keep getting more and more healings? These are all questions we hear.
Energy healing is simply healing by using the Energy which is innately within you, but guided by Spirit. There are many healers out there who think that it is simply their own Energy, but it's sort of like having a lamp with a cord and an electric outlet, but no one has turned on the electric. It just doesn't work very well. Some people have more of this Energy than others, but everyone has some.
There are many types of healing and most are valid. Some have very specific steps and processes, some have very few. All have some, even if it is no more than just listening to what Spirit tells us to do and following those directions. Serious Energy work can involve no more than the thought "I choose to heal myself." and sending Energy. Others require specific repetitions of processes, procedures, sequences, etc. Which is better?
The question is, with which do you feel more comfortable? Do you really need some of those processes, repetition, procedures to feel like you are getting "your money's worth"? If so, then those are for you. If you trust the Energy of the person doing the healing, then that is absolutely all you need! Yes, it works!
In one sense, Energy is Energy. It doesn't matter how far away you are. Sometimes, it is more desirable to work with someone in person. It is certainly easier to pick up on nuances, more specific information about the person which might enhance the healing, etc. But, yes, it works just as well, no matter how far away you are, no matter that I've had absolutely no contact with you. It doesn't even matter, to an extent, whether you know I'm healing you, although I personally never try to heal anyone without their consent. It doesn't work for me.
This brings us to the question of whether you need to believe in it for it to work. This is a touchy question. If you are so opposed to it that you block the Energy from you, then it won't work, no matter how hard the healer tries, and no matter what the healer my tell you. If you're uncertain, but willing to allow it, there can be great success. If you believe in it and work with the healer, the results can be astounding.
How does our healing work? That's an interesting question because it differs from person to person. I may do something with you I've never done before, if Spirit guides me to do it. I may do things I've done over and over. I use the essence of many healing modalities, although I don't ascribe to any of them completely. My healing techniques all come from Sprit and I haven't been trained in any modality. There are some which I can't do at all because they require extensive training, but I may pull something from that philosophy without even knowing from where it comes. I may never touch you, I may touch you. I may ask you to lie down, I may allow you to just remain where you are. I won't be using any objects, most likely, like crystals, symbols, etc., because I simply don't need them, and they don't enhance what I do. Am I saying they don't' enhance that of others' healing? Not at all. If it feels good, use it; if you don't need it, don't bother.
Depending on what your needs and desires are will determine a great deal of how I approach what I do. Are you looking to relieve some back pain, headaches, etc? That healing is very site specific and directed. Are you interested in actually awakening your soul and beginning to transform on the journey of the soul within you? Then, the process is very different. I might open a portal for you to "walk through" to begin your work. You will have to be more involved with me in my work at this level. Very few people choose to, or are ready to, begin at this level. but that doesn't mean it's not right for you.
What should you expect? The results are as different as the healing. Sometimes you will feel absolutely nothing and there will be absolutely no results. Does that mean it didn't work? Maybe yes, maybe no. Sometimes it takes time for the effects to be felt. Sometimes you will see amazing results immediately. Sometimes you will feel so drained afterwards that you simply cannot move for awhile. These are all positive results.
Why do I have keep coming back for more healings? In actuality, you won't have to. If you believe that you need someone else to do the work for you, then you will always need healing. If you believe that you can "manage" your issues, but that you can never really be totally well, then you will continue to need healing. It will depend on how quickly you progress, what type of healing you requested, how strongly committed you are to the belief and the work involved in healing yourself.
